Who goes to the gym? I've finally started again after a 6 month absence, I didn't really have an excuse not to go seeing as there's a resident's only gym in my apartment block, but it was always full whenever i wanted to work out. Anyway, after ratting out a few neighbours for certain things they should not have been doing to the concierge he lets me in after hours. My gym time is now between the hours of 11pm and 1am, all to myself, i can use the equipment and not have to wipe off my sweat
So, who goes to the gym and what's the best time for your work out? Wer ist dort? Unterbrechende Kuh. Unterbrech... Muh!!!

I'm going to start up once again after a month layoff. Since January of this
year, I've been trying to go twice a week...sometimes it works out, sometimes not, but you can't beat yourself up over not going all of the time. Life gets in the way...lol. The key is that SOME form of exercise is better than none. The iPod makes it a bit easier to hang on for that 40 mins. The "I didn't answer the question EDIT" Sometimes evenings work better for me...that way the kids can go swimming with my wife while I get my workout in. Or, sometimes, if I want to be alone, I will try to get up early and go before work. [Edited 6/6/06 14:36pm] Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I like to be one of the first ones there, usually around 4:30 or 5 in the morning. I feel like it helps metabolism throughout the day, gets working out out of the way, and I can shower and go on with my day.

So, who goes to the gym and what's the best time for your work out? Wow, you´re such a social person. I go to the gym at least three, sometimes four days a week. I usually start with some running to warm up ( half an hour) , then go on the threadmill, then some biceps/triceps/shoulders workout, then chest ( I don´t have to focus on that one, my pecs grow really fast...so I only need two or three sets with 12 repetitions). I also like to go swimming and I jog sometimes, depending on the weather and the amount of pollen in the air ( and cyclists and old grannies and junkies in the park ). I don´t eat too much protein but I´ve still managed to gain at least 22 pounds of muscle mass in the last years. Plus I feel much better. It has a lot of benefits. I eat a banana before I start my workout and one afterwards, followed by either a milkprotein shake or a whey protein shake. I drink at least a liter of water while working out.And another 500 ml after my workout, but I take my time. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

It´s surely better for your metabolism to work out in the morning, it burns fat much faster if you work out in the morning. The thing is that my gym opens at 10.00 a.m., and even when I don´t have to work I don´t feel like working out in the morning because I need some real food before I work out but I don´t have a big appetite in the a.m. hours....I really don´t know what to eat in the morning...most of the good stuff ( potatoes, noodles, rice) is a tad too heavy for me ( as a breakfast meal). I love to do my workout in the evening hours....and the girls are prettier too. In the morning hours you often see a lot of elderly people at the gym. i dont like gyms. Maybe when iam in my 30's, but now, i just find it too vain, unless ur trying to lose weight. I just find body building pointless

well, i am in my 30s. i mainly do it to feel less like crap, and it works. i don't want to have a big musclebuilder body.

I used to go to the gym regularly but stopped going when I got pregnant and haven't been back since having my son. I just don't have the luxury of being able to hit up the gym anymore.
I recently bought a recumbent bike so I can do some cardio at home and I am in the beginning phase of becoming a jogger...so basically that means that I am still just walking. Gotta start somewhere, right? I miss going to the gym though.

It may be attractive, but i dont justify spending alot of hours pulling muscles etc.. just to make my arms look a tiny bit thicker. Apparantly it takes years to notice a different if u are bodybuilding. If a girl is attracted to me (which is rare), then i dont want it to be because i have arms like popeye. Vanity is not one thing i can revel in even if i wanted to, to be fair. Even with a sharp suit, i still look like shit I guess trying to be vain, when ur told u look like pee wee herman, is a waste of time, luckily iam not vain.

I'm gonna let my membership run out when it expires in January. I'm just not going enough to justify the cost.
You're lucky you have one in your building

I dont know what an elliptical machine is, but, if its getting the job done, then cool. If i ever felt the urge to run, then i got a field nearby (luckily, until houses go on it). So nobody would see me LOL. I walk the dog some days, so i guess that keeps my body ticking over. That and clubs

I can't do the gym anymore. The girls are dumb, and the guys are assholes. I'd rather take my exercise outside in the form of jogging. Been doing that now for about a year, and I'm a-okay with that! Sweating in front of other people also kinda gives me the willies.

I've never belonged to a gym...but these past few months I've been looking around for one.
When I was younger, I wanted to join one but I was too intimidated by the roid-heads & such. I tried one out for 3 months...but after 3 visits I stopped going (long story). Now I'm too mature to care about what others think...but I do want to get in shape (got that middle-age pouch going). Even if I could, I could NEVER imagine wanting to look like this; ...but I really, really want one of these; By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Yeah, i go at least 3 times a week.
I do boxing, weight work and cycling mostly. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

I would like to see just a hint of that side muscle Some girls have it too thick, like Pink. She can't help it, it's just the way she's made. But I hope mine pop out & are super flat... or somewhat flat... even a little flat
