Lessee.
My non-rent-paying "roommate" is moving out within a couple of weeks, instead of the couple of months that I was fearing/anticipating. Thank fuckin' gawd. I'm finally pretty much over my illness. The people at my new job love me (they're easy to please, trust me). And I'm going out to comedy with some of my favorite poeple tonight.  oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1! | |

1) I finally finished and assembled in a 3-ring binder the first draft of my first book yesterday. Release date? I don't know. First it's going to have to go through some editing, and while the publisher wants to get it out ASAP, they have some other forthcoming books that they'd also like to release ASAP.
2) We signed a lease on a new apartment in the same building today. My studio was perfect for one person, but with two people, it feels like a luxury dorm room. 
We'll lose our balcony, but at best, it's useful for only 1/4 of the year. And our view (right now we've got a view of both the Seattle skyline and Mt. Rainier) might not be quite as good... it's the same direction, but we'll be two stories lower. OTOH, for a relatively modest rent increase, we'll have 70% more square footage, a better floor plan, both a separate bedroom and a den for my "home office," and a built-in eating bar. Also, our new apartment will be right off the courtyard, which has a fountain and seating. The resident managers here are really good... they've been very helpful in letting us "upgrade" two months before my current lease runs out. (I was prepared to rent two apartments for two months... hey, I signed a contract.) And they've already found a prospective new tenant for this space... he'll be checking it out Monday morning. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

For 2 years, I stopped eating Indian Food...oh I tried other places, but everything PALED in comparison. I would ask Indian Food lovers where the best places were...or where I could get a "red curry Indian dish" no luck. I would stop by the old place and ask them if they knew. I held onto the menu and would dial every 2-3 months just to see if anyone would pick up. Eventually the number was diconnected Last friday, my friend mentioned that they reopened up. I didn't believe him. But after a few internet lookups (the place wasn't even LISTED before) I found...only reviews This place used to be a tiny five-table spot on Jones at Geary. The kitchen and dining room were one and the same, and was manned by an extremely friendly and cute couple who made everything to order. i immediately fell in love with Little Delhi upon...It closed...I stopped eating Indian/Pakistani food, since nothing could even come close to my beloved Little Indian Delhi. I began to have dreams about the Delhi's food - and this has never happened to me before or since. In these dreams I could actually relive the experience - I woke up a few times mid-bite, completely distraught that I had merely been dreaming...my circle of friends and I always spoke of Little Delhi in hushed tones of reverence. and the clincher that this was the place.... I love you butter chicken. You went out of my life that one time, and I realized i didn't even know how good i had it. Now that you're back, I'm going to do everything I can to keep you. I made a round of calls and the next day we did dinner. I was so happy, I bought flowers and gave them to the now unstressed lovely "Indain Mother" Meekee. They were so happy to see us agian. We were treated like Kings and Queens! Anyway that's my good news! That's a great story Supa. No More Haters on the Internet. |

Im a writer and i applid 4 some things the other day,one of them was an editor position, i got one back from them and he offered me the position of either poetry editor or acquisitions editor.
