My good news is I have a friend getting married tomorrow night - she is 43 years old, this is her first marriage and I am so happy for her to be in love.



And the wedding is formal, so I get to dress up and wear my strapless black cocktail dress that makes me feel like I look beautiful, too! I'm so excited!

I'm going to Chicago next week. (YES! I know I need to make a few calls and get stuff planned. Brace yourselves! ) I'll be seeing Madonna with my very best friend. It's gonna rock.

I'm hosting my DJ Crews 3rd year anniversary and we have a big DJ coming in from Europe. That's Exciting. Even more so, we've been grooving on for 3 years now and I think we're gonna do good at this party...that the owner will offer a monthly gig for us.

I'm going to Europe in August! London/Amsterdam/Dublin and Paris (oui oui!)

2 Years ago, my favorite Indian Food place closed. It was the only place I liked and would go there all the time. It was a tiny 5 table mom/pop joint. The food might take 30 - 45 min but it was worth it and oh so very delish! When they closed, our "indian Mother" asked for name phone/addy etc. It was a sad day, but I told her to call me.

For 2 years, I stopped eating Indian Food...oh I tried other places, but everything PALED in comparison. I would ask Indian Food lovers where the best places were...or where I could get a "red curry Indian dish" no luck. I would stop by the old place and ask them if they knew. I held onto the menu and would dial every 2-3 months just to see if anyone would pick up. Eventually the number was diconnected

Last friday, my friend mentioned that they reopened up. I didn't believe him. But after a few internet lookups (the place wasn't even LISTED before) I found...only reviews

This place used to be a tiny five-table spot on Jones at Geary. The kitchen and dining room were one and the same, and was manned by an extremely friendly and cute couple who made everything to order. i immediately fell in love with Little Delhi upon...It closed...I stopped eating Indian/Pakistani food, since nothing could even come close to my beloved Little Indian Delhi. I began to have dreams about the Delhi's food - and this has never happened to me before or since. In these dreams I could actually relive the experience - I woke up a few times mid-bite, completely distraught that I had merely been dreaming...my circle of friends and I always spoke of Little Delhi in hushed tones of reverence.

and the clincher that this was the place....

You went out of my life that one time, and I realized i didn't even know how good i had it. Now that you're back, I'm going to do everything I can to keep you.

I made a round of calls and the next day we did dinner. I was so happy, I bought flowers and gave them to the now unstressed lovely "Indain Mother" Meekee. They were so happy to see us agian. We were treated like Kings and Queens!

Anyway that's my good news!
