Summer Vacation ...

What do you do with your kids ( Jess is 14 ) on summer vacation

hmmm looking for ideas to share

Depends upon where you live and availability, but most kids that age like the beach, white water rafting, hiking....active stuff.
Fortuantely there are some really cool camps available now for kids. All there was when I was that age was church camp ( zzz)

biggrin cool... we spent a week at the beach in april..was a blast

( it's only a 5 hr trip from here )

a couple yrs ago she won a rafting trip ... we did that ( 3 times actually )

I offered her all kinds of fun camps but she didnt want to do those this yr

it's only day 2 of summer vaca ...i think she is just into resting for now i guess...in a few days she'll wanna go do something lol

14-year-olds do not want to go to camps usually any more. But aren't there camps that are centered around media production around your area (video document making, working in a sound recording environment and so)? I've worked at those one summer and even the teenagers have really loved to be there, it's just about the right acitivity for kids of that age.

Come to Florida!


Go kayaking at Weeki Watchee, rid rollercoasters in Bush Gardens, and relax on the georgous beaches of Bradenton/Sarasotta.

a good day camp is good

and CAMP period...send them away to broaden their horizons and you can be butt ass naked all damn day for awhile!!!

JT is gone ALL summer to play soccer for a pro club reserve team in canada

I think Jess is going to go away at least 2 different weeks with friends/ family
