Glad to finally have that press bulklshit over and done with so we can concentrate on Saturday! I will listen to others, but the decision about when to play Rooney is down to Us - Rooney and Me. He is "injury free" and it's all about match fitness ONLY now.i.e. a big FUCK YOU to Fergie. Added to the fact that he's gonna miss the biggest single sports tournament in the world is SO unlucky. Get well soon, son. He recovered quickly from that break - let's hope he does this time too, & i join your best wishes for the guy.
Fantastic striker - on his day, right up there with the best. His positioning and tracking-back sometimes aren't quite as world-class. 
Still, France have still got 3 world-class strikers fully fit. Definitely echo your sentiments to Cisse's recover. Credit to the fast acting staff and medical team at Liverpool in "saving his career" from injury with that horrific multiple break. I remember seeing Dave Busst for Coventry having a similar injury to that of Cisse. Unfortunately that ended his playing days
Schiemchel (sp?) threw up on the sidelines seeing the aftermath of that smash. Oh aye, not to seem mean or anything to the lad but I do appreciate the job hhe's done for us at Liverpool butI still wouldn't put him in the world class bracket. Not even on his day. Still not proven for me

What's your team, Omadon? I like Cisse and have always wanted so much for him to do better, but he just hasn't done it for Liverpool. I must confess my first thought when I heard about the fracture was 'Oh crap, who's going to buy him now?'
It's a tough break, so to speak, for him though. Missing a World Cup (esp. since he wasn't really involved last time) and having another awful long-term injury. Did you notice his reaction upon looking at his FA Cup winners medal?  He's always scowling or something on the pitch, it cracks me up. | |
