3-1 Australia.

You have to say that Japan could easily have won this by a couple of goals. Just didn't take their chances.

Fantastic game. smile

This world cup is certainly an exciting one so far. nod Teams seem really bent on open, attacking football. woot!

England v Paraguay was probably the most dull so far.

Don't know what you're talking about concerning the referees... haven't seen the Japan - Australia game, but anything else so far was pretty good.

And about those yellow cards: I agree that sometimes you don't understand what they are given for, but that's not (always) the referees' mistakes but the FIFA rules.

We must be talking a different language or something confused But it's all good. The game's all about different opinions, different styles.

True. I hope we agree though that Germany will win this cup!

I hope they make it far at least. You cannot believe what's going on here. State of emergency, really. I'm so afraid it might end too soon.

Japan did the exact same against Scotland in The Kirin Cup.
Ive seen Japan play a few times and i think they are a real good team.
Very entertaining to watch.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Another great game to watch, fabulous stuff for the World Cup.

You could see the class difference straight away but I loved the way Ghana just went for it in the first 35mins or so. Said bollocks to defence and showed no respect towards one of the football giants smile All credit to them thumbs up!

It became apparent in the second half that it wasn't so much a Ghanaian tactic as opposed to just Ghana not knowing how to defend lol

Good to watch.

Thought Italy put in a solid performance tonight, very tricky game that was potentially. The czechs look very good though.

Brazil tomorrow... I reckon they'll fall flat

Keano's hung 'em up today, huh bruv. Not ashamed to say this as a Liverpool (esp. now that he's retired lol ) but what a fucking player that fella was. Brilliant clapping

What's happening with your midfield now, coz Lennon's contract talks ain't going to well are they?

what's happening is that it is falling to pieces. To be honest, Lennon is well past it and Keano wouldnt have given us a full season (still sorry to see him go though sad ). Nakamura may go to Spain too (despite being a little lightweight, he's got GREAT technique)

Priority is to make Petrov stay (if memory serves, one of Muirdo's favourite players razz ) and sign another couple of midfielders, perhaps a standout from the World Cup. More likely be another Hibs player or third rate premiership joker.

Can we not have one of your midfielders please?

Ghana was real fun to watch, for enthusiasm alone. I was hoping they would sneak a few past the Italians. Who were wide eyes and on edge. These spunky dudes giving them a run and every one watching.
Great match though. I would have hoped Ghana could have scored one for history. soccer
