Lipstick Alert - Serious One!!! I just got this email - I dont know how true it is.. but thought best to post it anyway.. 
If there is a female you care anything about, share this with her. I did! I am also sharing this with the males on my email list because they need to tell the females THEY care about as well! Recently a brand called "Red Earth" decreased their prices from $67 to $9.90. It contained lead. Lead is a chemical which causes cancer. The Brands which contain lead are: 1. CHRISTIAN DIOR 2. LANCOME 3. CLINIQUE 4. Y.S.L 5. ESTEE LAUDER 6. SHISEIDO 7. RED EARTH (Lip Gloss) 8. CHANEL (Lip Conditioner) 9. MARKET AMERICA-MOTNES LIPSTICK. The higher the lead content, the greater the chance of causing cancer. After doing a test on lipsticks, it was found that the Y.S.L.lipstick contained the most amount of lead. Watch out for those lipsticks which are supposed to stay longer.If your lipstick stays longer, it is because of the higher content of lead. Here is the test you can do yourself: 1. Put some lipstick on your hand. 2. Use a Gold ring to scratch on the lipstick. 3. If the lipstick color changes to black then you know the lipstick contains lead. ya know, even if this isn't true, i'm going to be buying organic soon enough... just too many chemicals in conventional cosmetics. (i hardly wear any, so it won't strain my budget too much.) | |

Well it hasnt mentioned MAC.. I will test my MAC lipsticks, but I use both MAC and Clinique! if sexy was a colour it would be red | |

| You're gonna have more problems than cancer if you're putting lead all over your lips!! Lead poisoning is no joke.You can buy inexpensive lead testing kits that will tell you if there is lead in your makeup.I really doubt this is true for all these brands but better safe than sorry. Well Chanel Allure Rouge lipstick isn't in there thank goodness! IT'z the first lipstick (in oppose to a gloss ofcourse) i've bought in yearz! No hablo espanol,no!

Is this true?
They banned lead paint years ago because of lead poisoning, but they stll allow it to be included in stuff you put on your mouth!!! Aside from poisoning those lips of yours how you doing anyway  Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard! | |
