Hey, a genuinely new and interesting thread topic.
I go through periods where I cry constantly. In fact, Richard, the weekend you met me was one of 'em, as everybody who was there can attest. Karen called me a leaky faucet. That was a really happy time. And I've had other times when I've cried every day. . . hell, damn near every hour . . . out of sheer misery. I was just pulling out of some of THAT shit during the last MPLS invasion. . . wait, maybe THAT'S when Karen called me a leaky faucet. But sometimes, like now, it's a more even keel. I still cry a lot -- probably most days -- but not every day. I've probably never in my life gone a week without crying. And I'm afraid I share Carrie's thing of having two or three days before my period starts when I can and do cry over ANYthing. It's nuts. Normally I don't mind, but feeling like it's random and out of control bugs me. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

Movies often make me cry but I try to hold back the tears so that others won't see, and then excuse myself to go cry in private in another room or the restroom. It's quite ridiculous, considering that when I return my eyes are puffy and red and it's obvious I'd been crying. You're so cute. I like going to tearjerker movies by myself, because I don't care if strangers see me cry, but if I'm with somebody I'm not really close to, especially if they're not the crying type, I can sometimes feel silly. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I remember when ET came out my aunt and cousins were all mocking me for crying over the movie. I was freakin 10 years old!!!! Many in my family tried to quell crying with threats and shit like that but my mom always encouraged me to have my feelings. Awwwww.....last night I was talking with my mom about some stuff and she said she never wanted anymore sons after I was born because she knew she would never have another one as nice as me 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

There are songs that give me chills or make me tear up just running them through my head. But maybe not everyday. And always, always alone. Most people don't see that side of me.
But I honestly need a good proper cry quite often. I'll watch movies or read books or listen to music that I know will make me do it if I haven't on my own in a while. Me too...or if someone else is crying...my tears start flowing too.

Moderator | I hardly ever cry, sometimes I wish I could cry to release the stuff I ave built up inside, but I guess I'm more likely to get angry then sad. It takes a lot for me to break down, but when I do it's usually not pretty.
I do have one weakness though the other day my students were auditioning for the school talent show and I started to tear up when they were singing... some where really good, others really bad don't matter to me if I hear kids singing I'll probably cry. It's just so damn cute! In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

I guess I'm one of those people who go through periods of crying too. I can't remember the last time I cried though. Sometimes I just get emotionally numb/apathetic. Or I try to block things out just so I don't cry or get over emotional, because once I start I have a hard time stopping. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I would be totally out of control I can't go on the pill either cause it makes me absolutely CRAZY! The few times I've tried to go on it have practically made me suicidal. It's sooooo bad. really? I'm not currently on the pill, but I was for years and I didn't see any change in my behavior. It's pretty much the same as it is now....which isn't saying too much I guess looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
