Birthday Bash Held for Sylvester Stallone

LAS VEGAS - It was a Hollywood _ and a Planet Hollywood _ reunion at a 60th birthday celebration for Sylvester Stallone.

The "Rocky" and "Rambo" star was joined by fellow Planet Hollywood founders Bruce Willis and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger for the bash Sunday night at Stallone's soon-to-open Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Stallone's wife, Jennifer, threw the party, which included disco dancing and a birthday serenade from Tom Jones.

Other celebrities in attendance included John Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston, David Spade and James Caan.

Stallone is writing and directing "Rocky Balboa," the sixth "Rocky" film, slated for release Dec. 22. After that, he is scheduled to play Vietnam vet John Rambo in "Rambo IV," expected to be released next year.

He's simply GOT TO hang up the boxing gloves & machine gun one of these days!!!

After seeing Quentin Tarantino do wonders for John Travolta and Bruce Willis(ie. give them great lines that really bring out their acting abilities), I'd always wanted him to have Sly in one of his films

I'm really looking forward to seeing these new films, Rocky IX and Rambo XIIV - weren't they?

Love the Rocky I II II IV flicks...Rocky V sucked though....hopefully this one will be better...and Rambo... I dunno about this one....

For some reason, i must like the fact he has to deal with growing old, and now finially, being torn down and back to being a bum again. Past glories and all that. I can relate in my own way. And the scene where he is in his old gym, remembering his old coach is poignant too.
