i understand what you are saying, i really do right now, im am trying to maintain a positive attitude and i am telling myself that this will heal and life will go on. i know that the possiblity is there that this could be a lifetime problem, and that makes me very sad. i am also aware that the doctor is to blame for this and that i will HAVE to be compensated in some sort of way if my vision does not return to what it was before i was injured.... so, right now im doing everything i am told by the doctors, i am hoping for the best, and i am trying to keep a good attitude - but i am also keeping every single piece of paper having to do with this and every conversation gets notes, JUST IN CASE the situation becomes one that would leave me different than i was before seriously, im sooooo happy that the pain is gone i cant hardly tell you guys what thats like. seems carrie has a good idea how that feels, but until you've felt it its hard to explain. i guess i am at risk for problems over the next month with the cornea falling away again... but i am confident that wont happen, its just to much pain to do twice lol. now, dont get me wrong... i say im trying to keep a positive attitude and all, but today i tried to do my jewelry and i cant even see the hole to put the wire through... i called my mom crying. that was highly frustrating. but, again, with this im hoping that in a few days this will get easier... i do understand the part about protecting myself, and i really appreciate all of you guys standing up for me.... i can tell you that i have a lawyer, and that time has to pass before we know what to do. also, the appointment tomorrow will tell us more as to what action we take.... do trust, if this is permanent damage, i will be all over his ass again, i really cant tell you guys how nice it is to see all these lovely messages, its like getting tons of 'get well' cards it means a lot to me, and i thank you all so much NPP One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

good news/bad news...
well, the FANTASTIC news is that its not in the retina thats ever so wonderful to hear the bad news is that the cornea is not healing properly, and that is of concern. but, remember that even if my cornea NEVER heals, and is totally messed up... they can replace it with a donor one and things should go back to normal (that of course being the worse case) so, big sigh of relief from me today.... i have incredible respect for those who have to live with retina damage, it is something that i dont know if i would be strong enough for. i have spoke to someone with that issue, and i appreciate your help and wish the very best for you honey more time, more time, more time.... that was the answer today.
