I think yesterday was just such a horrible day, and when you are alone, it just got so much for me.. I cried my eyes out all night.. needless to say I look really shit today, my eyes are all puffy and that.. but deep breaths.. I am gonna go into town and look into getting a book to help me, and if that doesnt work, then I will have to work towards a plan b.

The house stinks of damp wood and carpet, I aired it out best I could, and whatever anyone says, it was only an accident anyway.. at least there was no great damage.. I mean it could have been worse and the ceiling could have come through, so the water damage done, I am sure my parents can claim on the insurance, and anyway my sister did say my Mum would be *thrilled* as she so put it, cos she wanted a new bathroom carpet anyway..

and today is a new day.. and every day is a blessing.. and a chance to put things right

Anyway:

The plumber came and went and checked everything, said water the pressure is higher during the night, but it wont happen again cos the pipe is back in place and secure

This morning however, the overflow pipe in the toliet cistern is flooded again!

I am due to go to Manchester today to meet my parents back from holiday and the damn thing is flooded again, and if I leave it overnight, well I would hate for us all to come back on Saturday morning to find water leaking through the ceilings at rainstorm pace.. its wet already, and the ceiling could come down.

I thought if I turn the water off.. all will be safe. But the damned cock stop is outside under a man hole, and I been out all morning with chisels and stuff (cos I cant find the damned crowbar to lift the manhole cover..)

I will either break my nails or my fingers in the process
All workmen I know are on jobs till tonight, so I am under house arrest, and have decided to stay and watch waterflow all day..
