Another remake in a long line of pointless remakes The Fog,Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, The Posideon,etc, all horrible. Let's hope it fails in the boxoffice so the Hollywood execs wouldn't even think of a sequel  [Edited 5/31/06 12:35pm] | |

Thing is, this looks like a shot-for-shot remake, which I REALLY don't get! If you are gonna remake a film, at least do something different with it.

I agree totally. The Omen is right up there among my favourites, but it's so of its time (like, say, Rosemary's Baby) that I don't think it will work.
Although mia farrow is in it, so i am a little tempted to see it just for that.  | |
