You are a good person. And, in my book, that counts for a hell of a lot. When you look back over your life, I'm sure there are plenty of people whose lives you've touched in all sorts of ways. All for the better.


I do like myself. But it took me years to get there. There are still things I'm unhappy with but I'm in the process of sorting them out.



It's such a cliche - everyone knows this - but you have to like yourself. Warts 'n' all. You've got one body, one mind, one life. That's a helluva long time to be stuck with yourself.

As everyone says, why the hell should anyone give you a chance if you don't give yourself a chance? Imagine you were a restaurant owner and stood outside the building shouting "Don't eat my meals! They all look awful and taste like shit!". Great advertising. Why would anyone bother eating there??

Not the best example, perhaps, but...

I truly, truly think that schools should do more to encourage positive thinking and encouraging diversity. I think there would be a lot more happier adults.

And I agree that you can move along with life and everyone around think you are doing just great, but inside you are not enjoying life at all.

A broken heart doeen't help much, either.....

I realize the only person that I can trust or who can bring back the happiness I enjoyed for so many years is ME....so I need to get to work!

I do love myself, but I do not trust that anyone other than my Mom and my brother really love me back. And I am not sure I will ever trust or believe anyone again if they tell me they are in love with me. After you are betrayed, it is really hard to get that back.

If I weren't me, I would want me as a friend. One of things I'm proudest of is my ability to be a loyal and understanding friend. But yes, in general, overall, I like me. I do recognize when I'm kind of slacking off with myself though. That being said I had to pull out my exercise dvds so I can get toned and get some good oyxgen into my heart. Sometimes I physically abuse "me" with not getting enough exercise. I'm getting older so I definitely want to keep "me" in good working order. I'm the only me I've got
