I personally want some color-point cat and a quirky dog like a Dachsund or Sharpei.

Ahh, OK, I see. Just one last question....I´m still undecided whether I should ever get a seawater tank in the near future because I´m worried about the difficult maintenance and also have ethical concerns because most of those fishes are caught in the sea and hundreds have to die before a few dozens make it to the pet shop ( please don´t get me wrong, I´m not criticizing your choice , I´m just expressing my personal concerns)..anyway, that being said, how difficult was it for you to learn everything ? Does it really take at least six months to create a biologically intact cycle ?
Cuz that ´s what I read in a book, especially when you have live rocks.
Do you use a protein skimmer ? UV lights? What kinda filter ? Do you harden the water with calcium ?

Good questions, I'm at work right now, I will orgnote you later about it. It is not difficult at all. It doesn't take six months, you can shorten that to about one month using bio catalysts and starter fish (known as damsels)

none at the moment. All of my pets have died sad we used to have an assload of cats because our cat was always having kittens. I didn't want to have her spayed because I used to enjoy seeing the kittens grow up mushy I used to have a bunch of hamsters, and three rabbits. When I was younger I used to catch turtles and lizards and keep them as pets for a short period. Since summer is around the corner, I know I'll be seeing a lot of turtles roaming throughout the yard. I already see lizards on a daily basis.

mushy I miss my rabbits. They were huge....so big they out grew their cage. They had gotten to be bigger than our full grown cats. I'd take them out of their cage and let them roam around in the yard.....they'd always end up running the cats away lol When I move, I plan to get a dwarf rabbit. I'm always going to pets stores just to watch them. I heard you can litter box train them too.
