Mrs. Doubtfire - Who Loves It? I am watching Mrs. Doubtfire and I just wanted to say
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! I remember when I was a kid watching the tape in the VCR over and over and over and over and over and over again. As a young adult, I really appreciate the movie also. I think it has a perfect blend of humor and drama. It does a good job of teaching a lesson without it being a film that takes itself too seriously. On another note, I even had a girlfriend a few years back, and we had a running joke of quoting this movie. (I think at one point we watched it together and laughed out loud, even though we had both seen it before.) "I don't work with the males, because I use to be one." Who else digs this movie?

"I can see U doing it.....your sitting on a gold mine" Exactly, it might be good if the orignal director is involved. I picked up the Mrs. Doubtfire DVD and listened to the director's commentary, to say the director cared about the character and plot is an understatement, this director REALLY made an impact. A quick offhand example would be, the studio wanted the mom (Sally Fields' character) and the dad (Robin Williams' character) to get back together at the end. However, the director didn't do it because he thought it would seem too unrealistic or something. This director knows his stuff. When I first heard about the sequel, I was excited than nervous. However, if the same director is going to be involved then I am on board for sure!!! If that is the case..I have not been that pumped about a movie since, "Batman Begins."

I think it's a stupid movie, but I absolutely love the scene where he's hoping form his boss's table to his wife's table, going in and out of costume, when he finally loses his ability to remember what is what, he shows up at his boss's table saying something about "wanting to piss like a race horse" but still dressed as Ms. Doubtfire.
I almost pee myself laughing everytime I see that scene
