Even though there are countless other series with perhaps more depth and science to them, Star Wars is hands down the largest and for myself and many others, the ultimate fictional universe out there... there is just so much to discover.... however it owes huge debts to Isaac Asimov (whose work I love) to name but one great writer.

I agree. Sci-fi sagas, books or movies, neither matter.

The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy Trilogy (in 5 parts ), the only sci-fi stuff I like.
