Byron said: ThreadBare said: I think it stands to reason that few -- if any other -- Orgers have demonstrated... consistently demonstrated, rather ... the ability to write far more than necessary.
You see, it takes a special individual to say in 20 words what most people could say just fine in five. I cannot stress that enough -- and I mean that. I mean, really, I sometimes write just out of the pure joy that comes from constructing sentences in different ways. I love writing. I love discussion. I love being able to share perspectives with people of divergent viewpoints. That's why we all come here, right? I mean, given the opportunity to write something in response to a thread or to give an exhaustive view on something that has irked me, I'll do it every time. And, odds are, I'll write on and on and on about it... That's the wonderful thing about this medium -- the space to sprawl. I mean, look at me ... I'm on my fifth paragraph but haven't really said much since my first, rambling sentence. There's joy in repetition, after all. You ain't got nuthin' on me when it comes to lengthy, overly wordy posts, son...lol Uh-huh... I was just pausin' to sip on some Coke Blak. Once I recharge, it'll be on...

the lone woman who:
made a crap-load of those captioned pictures of prince typed up some of the most fun paisley party/concert reports ev-errrr used to change her avatar damn near daily used to be a fixture in the chatroom back in the day had to stifle the infamous "quaidbowl" nonsense by herself within her first week of becoming a moderator (and would NEVER wish it upon anybody else!) coined the terms ass majorica, vomitrocious, holy flaming hohners, and Hohnerliciousness a geek an old soul ....and was the sole orger who held it down for the dirty mind era.

I was totally gonna take credit for this legacy, too. And I've heard comments in support of this. But honestly, I've noticed that the orgers who are either journalists (like me and Threadbare) or lawyers (like Matt, namepeace and [one day] Sassy), are WAAAAAY too verbose. I mean, a comprehensively articulated thought is one thing. But when you start using latin phrases, footnotes, diagrams and volume numbers on a friggin' Prince website, something is wrong! My legacy is non-existent thus far because, as I've only been here a month, I've not done much special except scare people with Herman and my, er, 'letter' to Prince. However, what I'm hoping is that I won't ever have to worry about a legacy on the Org because I'm going to stick around forever and bug you all. HE'S COMING AGAIN

I know that's right. My excuse is I've spent so much of my career dealing with space constraints, I love the room of the 'Net.

My sexy avatars.
My love for the "Old Prince" 1978-1984. My strong dislike for Shitney Houston. My deep deep hatred of stripped down midtempo shit hop. My strong love for funk. That Rick James is my second favorite artist. Andy is a four letter word.
