The Org Food Network...

So summer is here and its time for BBQs and patio parties. If you're like me you like to make quick, easy yet delicious food, cocktails and nibblies for your guests or to take with you to someones place.
Im always looking for new things to make so please post some things that you have made that are easy to make...especially the ones that can be done after a few cocktails without screwing them up!

One thing I make for parties that is quick...

Chicken Taco Dip
(You can use beef too or just skip the meat entirely)

Spread a thin layer of cream cheese in the bottom of a pan (something that can go in the oven or be placed on a BBQ)
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on top
Sprinkle taco seasoning evenly over the pizza sauce
top with finely chopped cooked chicken pieces (leftovers from BBQ chicken or cut some chicken breasts up and cook them in a skillet with some taco seasoning)
add finely chopped...mushrooms, green/red peppers, onions, black olives...whatever you like.
then grate cheese on top, I use the pregrated Tex Mex stuff from Kraft.

When you're ready to serve it toss it in the oven or on top of the grill and wait til the cheese on top is melted then serve with taco chips.

Its really yummy and you can pre-make them in alluminum pie plates and freeze them and take them out as needed, they're really good as a mid-drink fest snack!

I don't wanna see that on tv.

Be careful, she has sharp knives.
