Irrational phobias I, for no particular reason, am terrified of spiders. Literally. The other day, when I was cleaning out an entertainment center, I saw a spider crawl weakly down the side of it and jumped back. Then I walked off and refused to come near it until I was sure the spider was far away from it.
I can't think of any other ones at the moment, but really I do have quite a few fears that make no sense...what about the rest of you? HE'S COMING AGAIN

I am deathly afraid to put my hand in glass cups to wash the inside of them. I destroyed my hand doing that once and since then I am terrified that it will happen again.
I also hate to fly. | |

oh yea that too steps cause of the height factor. elevators 4 me. Do you have vision problems? Are you good at things requiring solid depth perception (like, say, hitting a baseball)? I've always had an issue not with heights, but with going down stairs, stadium seating, and stuff like that. . . I learned recently that it's common for people who have grown up with binocular vision / depth perception problems, even if those problems aren't obvious to them. In my case, my vision issues are obvious, but I never made that connection before. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

you're telling me. I NEVER knew I was afraid of heights until I was a freshman in college. My girlfriends and I went out to this enormous tree to climb it and I got to the first branch and freaked out. I don't even know how I got down after that. then, last March, I went to my boyfriend's brother's house. the upstairs sleeping area had a fireman's pole to get to the second floor. my boyfriend and his brother slid down first and I was the last... but I couldn't slide down for about five minutes. I got really flushed and started to break out in hives. finally I slid down but was really shaky for a long time after. just yesterday I was in the city and made the mistake of looking down what looked to be an elevator shaft/hole on the sidewalk. I couldn't see the bottom and I thought I was going to faint. I mean, like, where is the sun?
