I'm from the midwest and I'm in my house right now, however, I can hear these birds singing and it is so beautiful. I never appreciated it last summer. In fact, I would try to block them out by playing CDs full blast. (Usually it would work.) However, I really appreciate them this summer. Is that a sign of age? or just me being lame-o and mellow? haha

Either way I love the birds singing outside and I think it is beautiful and peaceful. Ahhhhh so glad summer is almost here.

the birds in my garden are so loud, you can hear nothing BUT

its the mating season and whoever can chirp the loudest will get laid..

its kinda cute so to say but after a while, if you are on the phone outdoors or trying to concentrate it can be a bitch

i love hearing birds, especially in the morning. my courtyard and my street are full of birds, and hearing them all babble at each other is one of the few pleasant things about going to work in the morning.

you must never have heard the horrid screeching of the wattle bird which always starts at 4am!

Shit, i did do my essay whilst on here, but this place ate up my whole night aswell.

Oh fuck no. I had the loudest motherfucker here waking me up ever since March at around 3AM and it continued its alarm-clock-resembling mating calls for some solid ten hours. I had to sleep with ear-plugs all the goddamn time.
