Does anybody else cry everyday?

OK, right now I'm going through some things so I'm especially emotional right now but even when I'm very happy I cry at least once a day. It might be out of something sad that I've heard or something really really happy or touching or because of a song. One of my co-workers was shocked when I said that I cry every day no matter what level of happiness I'm experiencing.

Anyone else like this or am I just a freak? lol

Yes, I know this feeling. I've been crying for years for some reasons and sometimes without any reason. I'm this way, and I think I'm a freak too.

I probably tear up at least a few times a week. It can be happy or sad, or even somethig I just find utterly beautiful, powerful, whatever. I can actually be quite emotional. There are songs that give me chills or make me tear up just running them through my head. But maybe not everyday. And always, always alone. Most people don't see that side of me.
But I honestly need a good proper cry quite often. I'll watch movies or read books or listen to music that I know will make me do it if I haven't on my own in a while.

Depending on the company, I don't always mind so much.
Let's just say, if I've allowed you to see me cry, I probably think pretty highly of/feel pretty close to you.

This is crazy but I am always tearing up.

Sometimes when I walk at 5:30 in the morning, moutains to the west, and sunrise to the east the sheer beauty of the sight brings me to tears.

Or, If I think of my brothers, my nephew or Grandfather I tear up.

You aren't a freak...just a kind and compassionate person and there is nothing wrong with that. angel

smile yeah, I don't just cry in front of anybody but if I'm in public and I have to cry, I'll do it. Like one time I was reading something that Nana wrote me and I was crying like a baby. I couldn't hold it in no matter how much I tried. If people don't like it then, too bad. I gotta do what I gotta do lol

nah, I get it. That's totally cool. I just can't do it. Or rather not that I can't (cause let's face it, there are times you can't stop it no matter what) it just makes me feel really uncomfortable.
I honestly think it's cause when I was a kid my father would YELL at me for crying. I was not allowed to cry. If I was upset and cried about it, I got in trouble. confused To this day, I'm incredibly private about my emotions.

Like Whitney pre crack..I get so emotional baby! lol Easily. I don't count how many times I do or what sets it off.

Though the last time I cried almost every day or for no reason, I was going through a very hard time and it was mostly due to depression/stress at the time.

See, girls get the hormonal crying too. Or at least, I do. Instead of getting irritable (note: I did NOT say 'bitchy' rolleyes ) I get incredibly depressed the 2 or so days before I get my period. I'll cry at the drop of a hat, everything upsets me, if someone, say, forgets to email me I'll think it's cause they hate me and no longer want to be my friend (so maybe a touch of paranoia too?). lol It's awful. And it happens every month. And despite the fact that this has been going on since puberty I can't stop it or control it or anything. lol I just gotta remember to RECOGNIZE it and spend as much of the day away from people as possible.

I'm generally not a big crier. If I get really, really frustrated I will tear up...but that's about it.

But when I was at the end of my pregnancy I was a total mess..I got misty eyed over everything. I remember one time when a little old santa looking man, with missing teeth and in horrible miss-matched clothes came up to me in a mall and asked me where the movie theatres were. As soon as he left I burst into tears. He was old, he was a mess and he was going to the movies all alone (or at least he was in my mind).

Stupid hormones.

Yes. I'm not sure it helps. I used to cry alot as a child, not from sadness but from emotion, fear, whatever. I can cry with a movie, a book, last time there was a walk for Jesus downstairs, I was watching them sing and I started to cry (????), each time I think about my daughter I cry (we don't live together and I miss her a lot). But I hate crying from frustration.

Drawing helps, maybe one day I'll be a musician and I'll express my sensitivity.

I can't go on the pill either cause it makes me absolutely CRAZY! The few times I've tried to go on it have practically made me suicidal. It's sooooo bad.

I know that. My mother thinks my depression is due to hormons (I'm pregnant and I feel much more balanced).
