I had some rough moments over the weekend, but overall, I've been a little better. I don't know if the meds have helped or just the excitement and positivity of the Prince Vegas experience. But I plan on resting as much as possible once I get home. I haven't had much of that lately.

I'd say I'm about 50% there. Walking around the streets of Vegas is when I've felt my worst. During the Prince concerts and waiting outside, I was luckily able to sit (I feel like such a geezer). It's mostly when I exert myself. My brother and I were looking for a restaurant last night and that was tough. I felt the blood racing up to my head and my ears were ringing from it. That wasn't so hot. My stomach has been pretty torn up too. Not sure what that's all about. But the good news is that I'm finally sleeping! I think that's making the biggest difference.

5:24 thursday morning.

Normally I am able to establish a rhythm, a sort of healthy sleep pattern in between the shifting working hours of mine, but yesterday was my first morning shift, which means I get up early. Just one day into the shift I am most often unable to sleep just cuz my body is fighting back.

Today, at work, no coffee for me. Then I will go to the movies early in the evening and then I am sure I will be tired...

In what way are the doctors helping you, insomnia-wise?
