You're gonna be flinging back to mommy and daddy before you can say "congestion charge" Couldnt possibly more expensive than my prior neighborhoods in San Francisco and Venice, CA... But I AM prepared to spend some dough.

I'm on a working holiday-maker visa, Carrie, you can apply for one until your 31st Birthday they go for 2 years but you can only work for half your time here as last year they reverted the rules back to how they used to be lemme see if I can find some more info for you...

Believe me, it could. Yep, and if you manage to get anywhere for less than £300 p/m it will be a room, not a flat (and certainly not a 2 bed flat, and even more certainly not a 2 bed flat in shepherd's bush).

That's only if you're from a commonwealth country. I can't get one as a US citizen. Dammit if only I were Canadian! |

Dammit if only I were Canadian! wow... didn't know that As far as I can tell, the only way I can get a work visa is to get a UK company to hire and sponsor me. And being that I currently don't even have a degree that may prove to be next to impossible. I'm looking into some things, though. I may get over there someday. |
