Trigger: What you up to Dave?
Rodney: I'm listening to Mozart's Concerto No.5 in D-Minor. Trigger: No words to this song Dave? Rodney: No Trigger, it's an instrumental. Del Boy: All right Trigger? What you doing? Trigger: I'm listening to Mozart's Concerto No.5 in D-Minor. Del Boy: Okay. Trigger: It's the karaoke version.

This thread kicks ass! Or, AIRSE! as Father Jack would say
Various shows and sketches that have just come to my mind: Open All Hours people!!! I mean, what about the comedy genius of "Four candles, no four candles! handles for forks!" I always loved the bit in Ab Fab where Eddie and Pats have been on a bender and wake up in the midst of it asleep on the dining table, and Patsy's hair is still perfect, and she still has a fag in her mouth, which she just waks up and lights! Pats was definitely my fave :nod What about Father Ted, where the TV is broken, and Dougal (bless Dougal, lol ) picks up the front of the TV, the screen part and puts it in front of his face and says something like "This is Father Dougal Maguire bringing you Top of The Pops here from Craggy island!!" And Jack, whos just woken up, screams "How did that GOBSHITE get on the television?!!" Loved that! Fawlty Towers cant beat it. well you can actually... MONTY PYTHON!!!!! No quotes, just the whole thing

Vyvyan (sp?!) is still one of my heroes!!
The Young Ones was ace, my fave was the one with University Challenge, wasnt it called Bambi? That was great! I loved Some Mothers Do Ave Em as well, but the scrapes poor Frank got imself into had me hiding behind my hands! Too nailbiting, watching him almost fall down that cliff at the picnic!

Yeah! the one where Bambi did the "video nasty". Also the one where Vivian gets decapitated whilst(what an English word) sticking his head from the the window of the passenger train. Never heard of Some Mothers... A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.

Green Wing is the worst show EVER!. Not the worst on TV now, it's just the worst show EVER. I'd rather be strapped to a chair forced to watch Last Of The Summer Wine.

Oh, and talking of The Vicar of Dibley, everyone always talks about the time Kylie Minogue made a cameo, but they always forget about Johnny Depp popping up. Kylie was in her inckle career slump then so ot wasn't that big of a deal at the time, but Johnny Depp!!!

Does anyone remember The Baldy Man? The main character had the worse comb-over you've ever seen in your life and he didn't speak much during each episode either. They only made a few shows, but it was damn funny!

That was funny. I don't like Gregor Fisher though. Rab C Nesbitt is so overrated. Anyone south of Manchester couldn't watch the thing without subtitles.

I ALWAYS watched that as a kid. Much better than Benny Hill who was utterly awful. Rubbish slapstick only suited to international audiences because physical humour is universal. Cupid Stunt [Edited 5/26/06 3:13am]
