Who the hell likes Keeping up appearances hmm its shit.
I remember the BBC did a poll to find Britains favourite comedy and the entire Top 10 was made up with, wait for it!, BBC commisioned shows. It was an absolute bloody disgrace. There was no way Vicar of Dibley beat Father Ted into the top 10 i mean watch this:

also, i think vicar of dibley is a very good comedy. it's just targeted at a different audience to that of father ted.

Must also mention the The Royle Family. Frickin love that show.

My mum and dad hated her and her pussy.
They tried to steal the idea in Eastenders with Ethel and her little Willie.

It's quite dated in a 70's-humour type of way but I'm not sure what the reaction was at the time. Apart from the fact everyone loved it.

I got the latest DVD release of Red Dwarf signed by the cast (minus Craig Charles who had Corrie filming commitments) in HMV a few weeks ago.

Oh, and I met Christian Slater last night after seeing One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest again, but we were just as excited to see that the Chief had been in Father Ted. He was Father Dick Mayo who presented the Golden Cleric award to Ted lol

Only Fools And Horses got better with age - the relationship between Del and Rodney was so strong and life-long that I cried when Rodney got married, and Del stood there in the empty reception hall after everyone left, eating jellied eels and listening to Simply Red...

That was one of my favourite episodes. As well as the one when Rodney first met Cassandra (better known as "falling through the bar" episode), When Rodney has to pretend to be 14 to win the art competition holiday, and the 1991 Christmas special "Miami Twice".

I think they should have stopped after the 1996 Christmas trilogy. The other ones after that were pointless and ruined the legacy.
