All the loves of my love, three or four - depends on how you count it, have been highly intelligent women. Thinking back at it, each one was basically the smartest woman I knew at the time.

I would not want to go out with a guy that is less smart than me, I don't really understand how guys could do it. My husband always asks me what I think, he trusts my opinion even more than his own most of the time. And I feel the same way about him mushy

So what you're saying is that when considering opinions, you trust most the opinion he has, which he in fact trusts less than yours, which conversely he in turn trusts more than his own?

I'd advise you not to say this to a Valenciana. But I suppose you know that.

I've always enjoyed both types of women.
They both have their pros & cons.

Those whom I've dated that were smart always helped me with my taxes 'n' stuff (I'm self-employed, so it really helps).
On the other hand, they always wanted to talk after sex.

The dumb ones, it was always so easy to get into their pants.
On the other hand,
they would never say anything to stimulate me on an intellectual lev falloff...oh man....I almost said that with a straight face.....

simplified answer coming up:

dumb men like dumb women and smart men like smart women
like attracts like, in most cases...
in my experience, dumb women make for boring lovers, and the quick satisfaction of an easy lay gets tired real quick...

i want someone with a little imagination razz

oh and hello anotherlover biggrin

well, luckily we nearly always agree and if we both think the same thing, that option is the right one and we're like highfive it's sickening (to others lol ) how similarly we think nod our kids hate us cause we always say "NO!" about the same things and they can't get a second opinion from the other lol

I don't know if men generally like smart women. Now, I know that women like smart, creative men. I've always been attracted to non-conventionally attractive guys who are creative and intelligent. I've never been attracted to Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise type of guys. I mean, I can appreciate those guys being good-looking, but I've preferred the Adrien Brody types. Of course, I really love Johnny Depp, and without a doubt that guy is good-looking. But I think it's his Bohemian type of attitude that I'm really more attracted to.
