No. anyone can enter. All you need is for your country to choose you to represent them. Each has their own way of choosing. except it has to be a new song. that hasn't been heard before. I think. [Edited 5/20/06 16:41pm] | |

You're chosen to represent your own country by whatever perliminary contests they have in each country the year leading up to the event. In Germany the have a slew of professional songwriting/performer competitions that they use to select the representative, in addition to taking show contestants from our reality talent shows into consideration as well. | |
