And once again...what is with Tom Hanks hair????? what exactly does it mean to be "nailing" a girl ? hhmm, its a rather violent term that implies having sex WITH a girl, but instead comes across as an act that just the male is doing TO the girl, thus, nailing her, which, as we know, if someone were nailed, would be quite painful.

Is Holy Blood fiction or non fiction? I'm interested, but I wonder if it's a fun read. My Legacy

I enjoyed the Da Vinci Code. I'll probably see it again next weekend. Tom Hanks was great in it. Sir Ian Mckellen was INCREDIBLE as usual. Great movie. The 2.5 hours flies by. [Edited 5/23/06 14:14pm]

Over two thirds of Britons having read the Da Vinci Code believe that Jesus fathered a child. We despair, it's a work of fiction for fucks sake.

The Da Vinci Code is a Sony Picture. Sony is a Japanese corp. The Japanese were a part of The Axis during WWII. You know what that means? If you see the Da Vinci Code, you are a NAZI! “In order to maintain an untenable position, you have to be actively ignorant, ... One motto on the show is, 'Keep your facts, I'm going with the truth.'”

I saw the movie last night, I wasn't expecting much and after it I wasn't that impressed. As a visual, the story becomes even more ridiculous, especially the ending. Hanks wasn't that annoying as I thought he would be, Tatou is a cutie. The movie is pretty much true to the book, and just as shallow. The Opus Dei-thing isn't that worked out. I can't see why the Vatican is so offended, other than the fact of assumption that Jesus had some 'sacktime' with Mary Magdalene. The ending of the movie is just as lame as in the book.
The whole Silas-character is ridiculous as well, and I've never been a fan of Paul Bettany, so that adds up. I guess that if you've not read the book it makes an ok-movie, but are there people who haven't read it? Ron Howard's career as a movie-maker will not profit from it, other than the box-office ofcourse.... Leaves to say that McKellen was good, I think Dan Brown made up that character with him in mind.....I remember thinking of that when I read the book over 2 years ago....

I read the book and was really looking forward to seeing the movie. Well my boyfriend and I saw it last night and we both thought it sucked monkey balls big time. It was a horrible waste of time - two hours of my life that I'll never get back.
While it stayed pretty close to the book, the movie itself was extremely slow and lackluster. There was absolutely no acting, it seemed like the characters were just walking through their roles (with the exception of Sir McClellan) the ending stunk and was slightly changed from the books ending - which was a disappointment. And while I usually enjoy Tom Hanks, he was totally mis-cast in this role. In the end if you want to see it for yourself wait for it to come out on DVD - in my opinion you won't have to wait too long. Rent it at McDonalds for a dollar. I give it a big thumbs down!

It's where Dan Brown got all this from. Well, it is billed as such, even though it is based on papers that were later confirmed to be a hoax. In my mind, that makes it fiction. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

But so is the bible.. so where is the the truth???? Both claim to be full of facts. They are, too, it's just not clear where the truth ends & the fiction begins in either book. My Legacy
