Of course I do have to admit that as it's usually the guy's task to ask the girl out, then the girl must have the advantage of saying "no" even quite early on, after a meeting or two. I imagine it could be a bit hard decision for the females to even say no when some decent, nice guy who they are not that interested in asks them out. Many girls just want to be nice, altough they might have to face with putting down the man later on.
