PrintableYeah this is one of a few deleted scenes that is on the Insider Guide CD-Rom which Lucas put out to commemorate/celebrate the Special Editions in 1997.
There is also a deleted scene (which you can see a taste of in teh original Empire Strikes Back trailer) where,when the rebels are fleeing the Hoth base, C3P0 removes a warning sign from a door and a load of stormtroopers subsequently enter the room....to be greated by a capture Wampa) | |

I always kind of wished Biggs had made it through the first movie. I have this CD as well, and yes it was called "Behind the Magic". The footage here seems to be in a little bit better quality than that on the CD-ROM, though, so I'm wondering where this was taken from. One of the other great things about that CD was the weapons testing area where those poor stormtroopers get killed in multiple fashions.  | |

That's a great scene in painting a picture of the isolation of Tatoinne(sp?) and Luke's frustration. I actually can't stand Episode 4  and feel that if Lucas is going to make more changes to it, he might as well go all out with that one. | |

Biggs looked cool in that black cape, shame the sceene wasn't reinserted for the 1997 special edition, maybe 2007...?
