I am really pissed off.. 
Just a little vent: I woke up this morning to find the kitchen and bathroom at my parents house completely flooded.. it looked like it was raining inside.. there was water coming through the ceiling and lights in the kitchen, everything was saturated in water... the bathroom carpet looks fucked now.. the leak happened while I was sleeping last night, and continued till I woke up and found it.. the overflow pipe for the toilet had dislodged and water was rapidly puring out the toilet through the carpet and floorboards and into the kitchen. I have this project I am doing which I hate.. I am a shoe designer, but the work I am doing is pure graphics, and although I am expert with Adobe Illustrator, the things I have been asked to do, need Photoshop, which I havent a clue about at all! I have looked at courses, but they are charging £495.00 a day to learn the basics of Photoshop, but for the work I need to do, and what I will get paid, I cant justify spending that kind of money right now. It would be better if I was employed by a company who could pay for the fees themselves, so I am wondering whether to phone this company and tell them I am terminating the contract, which will leave me with a bad rep, and them stuck in the middle of a very important range that has to be manufactured and instore for Christmas. I am also fed up with my lonely life at the moment.. I feel like I have been on holiday alone for too long, and its really getting me down.. time is passing so fast, and I look behind me, and realise I have missed out on so much.. and I cant see anything changing in the near future anyway. I try hard to keep on top of things, and I know I will be blamed for this leak.. and that I am irresponsible and stuff.. but as the plumber said, it could have happened anytime, and its just an accident.. but with me and my family.. I NEVER have unfortunate accidents.. I am a fucking nightmare.. must have been my fault.. I am just really sad, whether you care to read or not, I just wanted to get this all off my chest and have a good cry..  if sexy was a colour it would be red  | |

Oh sweetie I really have to go to bed now cos I've got a doctor's appt in the morning, but I will phone you tomorrow. If your family blames you for the leak I will spank them and remind them what a beautiful person you are.
I would call the company which you have the contract with and have them write off on the Photoshop course, or make them agree to do it in Illustrator. Tell them that you want to do the best possible job but to do that you need Photoshop and you're not knowledgable enough to make the kickass job you could and which they want

You don't have to take a class to learn photoshop, there are really good books at the bookstore that will teach you about it in a friendly, clear way.
