Just freshly outa bed, I had the honour of being able to congratulate him myself.

it was when i directed fellow university students in a play. it was an adaptation of ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, my favourite sitcom. we changed the university theatre into a nightclub.

for those who know: in one of the scenes Saffron gets married and Edina has a vision of God and an angel. it was projected on a big screen.

we borrowed the wings from a big theatre group in Amsterdam. the actor who wore them on stage had just died of AIDS and they were really special, made of swan feathers.

i was in love with the guy who took the picture.

this is not a promo pic, it was taken by our technician after a nice show in Enschede, the Netherlands. we ended the show with some sort of black and white fight ballet to LET THE SUN SHINE IN from the musical HAIR, wearing this make up. at the end of the ballet, we make up with putting some make up on each other. i got a nice lill' clown's nose!

there was not much audience that evening... Marijn (that is her name) and i create shows that are not very accessible over there apparantly,unfortunately.

we have been a comedy duo since '95 and we won a major comedy festival in Holland.

the comedy is usually absurd.
