The Need for SPEED! Sometimes Lately I have been taking Chaser 5 hour energy.
http://www.chaserenergy.com/ It is a small little Alice in wonderland bottle of mostly natural juices that gets me a great boost of energy when I want to do things like stay awake. Anyone have a need for speed? News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Ex-Moderator | I can't do anything speedy/energy type thing. It turns me into a jittery blabbering FREAK!
If I have caffeine past 10am I'm up till 2 in the morning. I can't take daytime cold medicine cause it makes me feel worse than the cold symptoms do. And if I happen to have a vodka red bull on a night out, FORGET IT! Cause I will. |

The feeling is even worse when you take naps and wake up feeling even more tired. At the moment I'm just not having late nights. I hate waking up late, you see, so I have to be asleep by 11pm at the latest to get enough sleep.

This may be attributed to sugar Anx. Try breaking your meals up to 5 meals a day at around 200-300 calroies each. It'll control your insulin level and help you to sustain energy. Of course, nothing beats 8 hours of sleep though.

I've been eating little bits throughout my day (not quite meals) and ending with a dinner of aorund 500 calories. Then usually a snack of fruit in the late evening (in fact I just ate a bunch of strawberries). It's not so easy on weekends. And at work, people must think I eat constantly, cause I pretty much am every two hours. But it keeps me full of energy, I rarely feel uber hungry and it's good for the metabolism. |

If I need a little energy burst anytime of day I'll eat a couple of slices of peanut butter on toast. Generally I just drink lots of water to make sure I don't feel tired.

[Edited 5/18/06 8:46am] Didn't Bill Cosby say something about having Breakfast...That will normally glue you together. Toast and Peanut butter is sufficient. Water gives you energy too.
