anybody live in Texas or the Southwest USA? man, when i went to the University of Texas at Austin in 1986-1991, my two favorite places in the world to eat (on a college student budget anyway) were:

I got hit by a shrink ray by a mad scientist, and now I live in a glass cage with a tarantula.

I went to UT from '87-'92. Saw Sign o' the Times at Hogg auditorium.... twice.

Woo Hoo. I live in Austin, but am originally from San Antonio. Yep.. Taco Cabana actually started-out in San Antonio. I think the original restaurant is still around. Whataburger is good for fast food,but my most favorite hamburger joint is Chris Madrid's in San Antonio. A good hamburger joint here in Austin is Huts. My favorite Mexican food restaurant in Austin is Guerro's. | |
