My first "45" - "Outta Space" by Billy Preston age 10 First album - "Headhunters" by Herbie Hancock age 10 for the song "Chameleon". I was a funky little kid!!! I had my little record player in my room and I would rock out! [Edited 5/20/06 0:49am] | |

The GREASE Soundtrack in '78. I must have been in 2nd grade maybe. Mind you, I had been on countless other record shopping expeditions with my mom and big sister, but this is the 1st time I used my own dough to get my own record without anybody's help. That's one thing that was cool about my childhood, we couldn't get away with very much with a relatively strict upbringing and all..but my parents had NO problems whatsover with practically throwing money at us so we could each build our own personal record collections | |
