Me too. I'm happy with being an aunt to two nephews and one niece. That's the one nice thing about being an aunt, after awhile, the kids go home. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

That's the spirit. I feel appreciated by my family and friends, and that's good enough for me. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Oh, hey you're right, I never thought of it that way. I'm a mom to three kitties, and they are like my kids. They're my "fur children". RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

So we can celebrate Mom's Day too That's right! It was so cute, because a lady at work asked me what my cats were giving me for Mother's Day. I jokingly said, "Oh, nothing much, probably just a hairball". RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

To all of the non moms. Do not give in to the pressure of having a baby. Millions of people live very happily without kids. Once you have them there is no turning back. You are stuck. Think very hard about it.

to all the women of the world....
there is no such thing as a "non mom" to me in that, when a woman smiles at a child she shares a "motherly thing." as a teacher, she give knowledge she kisses boo boos, and gives voice to stories from fairy tale land. she smiles at the lonely child and gives from her heart in educational style. as a nurse, a woman reassures the frightened toddler, and youths with a smile and word such as, "the doctor's gonna make everything alright, don't be afraid, we are here for you. as a receptionist she reaches in to her special drawer for paper, color crayons or a toy, while the mommy is taking care of her business that rep is a 5 - 30 minute stand in. making sure boredoom stays in the corner and a child's smile stays in place during the wait. as a cashier at fast food restuarant she brings out the "toy of the week" just to see a smile and share her happiness and kindness while serving food with open joy as she sees the twinkling eyes of childen ready to eat. or a watiress at house of cuisine, she will bring out the booster chair and ask about what little tommy or sally would like the waiter to prepare. she'll come visit the table to make sure everything is alright. she sends a "special smile" and kind words to the child as she walks away. and the lady bus driver who has our children in her hands, greets the children each morning driving in morning traffic with caution and care. she carefully stops at the red lights and makes sure each child safely exits the bus. patiently waiting to make sure they all make it to the sidewalk before she pulls away. in conclusion...this is what i have left to say a mother's instinct is in most females at a early age.. from playing with her favorite doll or hugging her younger siblings if she hears them crying from a fall while at play. all women are blessed to have a mother gene within. and for that you are under the mother's umbrella for you shine each and everyday. "happy/mother/woman day to you too". from "opalstar"...5/14/2006 [Edited 5/14/06 11:45am] i love you for who you are, not the one u feel u need to be.
