Because instead of Jack Black, we have Kevin Dillon (Matt Dillon's brother), who looks like a "special", portly version of his sibling and creates the single most annoying character (Lucky Larry) in any disaster film of recent memory. Big bump.
I only just saw this. You're being too harsh. It was better than Armageddon or a number of other trashy blockbusters. Didn't really look like it cost $175m, and Fergie from BEP was awful. I wish she'd had a more violent and individual death or something. I loved the waiter being crushed by the elevator
