anyone saw CHRISTIANE F?

Christiane F is way more impressive than Requiem for a Dream

nod

good film!

if they spliced the david bowie scene into "requiem for a dream", it would be perfect.

i suppose its a well written movie due to the effects it has on people who have watched it... i myself have never seen a movie that made me want to kill myself more than that one did eek

seriously, that was the most depressing piece of shit movie i have EVER watched disbelief

I totally agree... I caught this movie late, late one night and thought I'd stay up and finish watching it because I kept hearing people talk about it. I certainly didn't find it to be 'deep' at all, but it was increasingly depressing. I almost gave up on it several times but held out, thinking there'd be at least a tiny glimmer of positivity or hope in the ending... boy was I wrong. 4am rolls around and the ending is a complete cluster fu*k. I was PISSED. lol What a wasted evening.

Maybe some people need to see that to stay off drugs. I'm not one of them.

Great film, but you definitely need some kind of happy-chaser movie afterward to get the depressing taste out of your eyes.

i'd suggest the season 1 box set of "small wonder".
