Raz on The Raz in Iceland

Since I'm a very self-centered person razz I just had to post a link to this article I just found on the net about my home country, Iceland.....
The difference between this article and so many other articles about Iceland that it doesn't look like it's written by the Icelandic Tourist Board but it's not full of inaccuracies either (fortunately)... also it manages to avoid the standard clichés about Iceland, i.e. that we all believe in elves and fairies and that all the female singers here sound like Björk lol
So here is the link to the article "Raz on Raz in Iceland"... It's written by a guy called Raz (which kinda sounds like "rass" which means ass in Icelandic razz ) who went to Iceland a few weeks ago to check out a spring music festival in Reykjavík and here are his experiences from the journey:

A few notes about the contents in the article: The drunk kids in the crazy costumes are kids celebrating graduation from high school (been there-done that)... Silvia Night (pictured in the article) will represent Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest... those in Europe can check her out on Thursday in the semi-finals (contest starts at 21.00 CET - she's the last act of the night)... she's crazy evillol Her Eurovision website (with sound and video clips): http://212.30.217.117/eurovision ... Her official website: http://www.silvianight.com/
Oh, and Stórsveit Nix Noltes (also mentioned in the article).... fantastic band.... it's an Icelandic band playing East-European folk music... sounds weird doesn't it? But still it's a great band... Seen them live two times and I almost played in a band with the bass player some years ago.... Highly recommended worship
their CD can be bought here:

Nice article. I swear, if I ever visited Iceland, I don't think I'd go back home. It sounds so beautiful and full of creative, self-aware people. I'm sure I'm romanticizing the hell out of it, but just the pictures I've seen of the city and the landscapes make me swoon.

I was toying with the idea of visiting Iceland this summer. I'm intrigued.
