Jenna Kimmer Jenna is a name her daddy came up with and Kimmer is after a very dear friend of ours who was killed in an accident 3 1/2 yeras ago.



After contracting on my own for a few hours last Thursday (05/04/06) I went in for my scheduled induction. I was on pitocin from 9am - 6pm and the shut it off so I could eat and try to get some sleep. The next morning, they started me back up on the pitocin and my dr. broke my water, things were on their way. Unfortunately, things took a turn south around 4pm and at 4:25 I was being told I needed to have a C-section. (Found out her head was too big to ever decend where it needed to go )

Jenna arrived at 5:36pm on Friday, May 5th, weighing in at 9lbs 4.25oz and is 19.8inches tall.
She has TONS of dark dark hair and her eyes altough blue like all newborns are really dark too. She is a calm content baby who sleeps lots (which don't let anyone fool you, it is not always a good thing when she won't wake up to eat).
I am totally smitten with her and her daddy is absolutely in love.

Thanks to everyone for thinking of us over the past few weeks, and my whole pregnancy for that matter! I will probably be busy as heck with this kiddo, but hope to at least pop in occasionaly

ohhh it sounds like you went through one hell of a labour/delivery. I am soo glad that you and the baby are both allright and healthy.

I know personally what a trooper you are as my own daughter weighed in at the exact same as yours and my pregnancy had to be induced because she was two weeks late.
