Chicago was plunged back into winter over the past day or so, and now all I want to do is sleep, eat and be a filthy bum. And I can't think straight either, so add being stupid to that list of things I'm getting into right now.

Does anyone else get smacked upside the head by sudden changes in weather? Two days ago I was full of energy and ready to hit the gym again and take yoga classes and now I just want someone to go to the store and get daddy a bag of Double Stufs so I don't have to get off the davenport or miss a minute of the Surreal Life marathon that I'll probably fall asleep through anyway.

And YES, I have a cranky transition day whenever the weather changes drastically. I thought that was just because I'm a pussy mossback Seattlite who is used to having the same weather every day forever with rare exceptions, but I guess not.

Two days ago, we were having severe thunderstorms and tornado watches down here in Mississippi. When the storms ended, yesterday and today have been cool fall-like weather. I love it! Summer will be here soon enough (a time of year that I hate) and I'm in no rush for it to get here because it gets hotter than hell's fire down here. Winter is my time of year. I wish it was freezing cold year round and nighttime 24/7. I never have liked daylight. My friends call me a vampire.
