Now if you'd have left a non-burning candle burning I would've been impressed. shrug

Of course he is! I just wanted to scare him a bit -- remind him what COULD happen -- if he doesn't make sure to blow out the candle next time. Fire is an awful thing...I know...

Just be careful, ok? Is there anything you can do to remind yourself to blow out the candle before you leave?

my first year away from home i had some cloves simmering on the stove and came home from a night out to find that i had left it on neutral

i was very lucky. i didn't leave crap simmer on the stove after that

perhaps if you like to have a candle burning it should be beside your car keys or maybe you have to walk past it to leave the house?? to get you into the routine of putting it out.

That's a good idea nod Or make yourself an old lady checklist & post it by the door so you're reminded to check around the house before you leave geek

You really need to stop that.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.
