Thanks org. Yeah, I'm still here. Not accomplishing anything. Do you think I can sue the org for that? "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

It wouldn't be any more stupid than the woman who sued McDonalds because she got fat from it. And I could really use that 17 cents. Lazy whores need money too. Thanks org. Yeah, but you have some hardcore hardass knowledge of music! Why thank you. But most of it came AFTER the invention of the internet. Well yeah, books too of course, but I could (and do sometimes ) sit online all day and just read about music. I washed one load of clothes, ate, watched tv, sorted some old clothes to sell/donate. Now the playoffs are on so I won't be good for anything for another few hours - then the day will be over. I didn't even exercise. WTF? Do you accomplish something every day? Do you forgive yourself when you don't? I gotta learn how to relax But think of all the stuff I could get done while I'm relaxing!! Chile...let it go...I used to be like that when I was at home in the States I used to have the SAME problem...it got so bad with me trying to juggle work, a social life, and personal relationships my dumb ass had TWO cel phones just to keep everything organized and catagorized....now that I live in a country where the stores close at 8 p.m. and EVERYTHING is closed on Sunday, I've had to LEARN how to chill out. Beyond trying to keep the house clean, and making sure I always have milk, eggs, bread, butter, and a PEPSI in my fridge, anything else I have no problem with saying 'to hell wit' it'. Now I have a cel that I only use exclusively for work related communication, and force everbody to call me at home or leave a message on my machine. Unless they're dying or something caught on fire somewwhere, I'm not talking to them til I'm at home with my shoes off and a drink in my hand, period. Sundays, since everything is closed here, unless I want to go see something cute and artistic (like a classical dance or music concert), or somebody is inviting over for brunch...my motto is LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE. I'm watching my little BBC arts & travel documentaries, and some cute movies, and eventually I'm going to get up and make Sunday dinner, but beyond that, don't expect me to do ANYTHING that doesn't involve propping my damned feet up somewhere. Sh**, I have had a busy career and a busy personal life for the last 15 damn years, and now that I get a chance to have days off, I indulge without ANY guilt whatsoever....as long as my house is straight, I'm COOL

Maybe later in the week I should do this relaxation thing right - schedule a massage Buy a big box full of safety pins...when you take your socks off, pin the toes together before you toss them into the hamper to be laundered! It's a lot faster/easier to un-pin the pair to put then on than it is to match the socks in order to put them away. That's actually a good idea I don't know if I can fuck around w/ it right now but I'm filing that for future reference especially if I ever have kids

I am way lazy... today the only productive thing I managed to do was wash the dishes, and even then I broke two plates!
Later I am going to play tennis and maybe walk the dog. It's weird not having a rigid working schedule - so it's like every day is a day off. So I don't really do anything. I mean, like, where is the sun?

I got four loads of laundry done. Well, the last one just came out of the dryer when I had to leave and come here to work. That one will still be waiting for me when I get home, I'm presuming. [Edited 5/10/06 15:59pm] good for you! We don't have a washing machine or dryer at my place. We also don't have a dishwasher. Or hot water. Or a shower. I mean, like, where is the sun?

omg that IS funny because we need a fence in the back to keep the crackheads out who keep stealing everything we put back there... copper pipes, bamboo, patio furniture, you name it! and we found a place that will do trade for free... so the fence is going to be made out of CORRUGATED METAL! In the meanwhile, he'll probably get mauled by another dog. Dogs HATE him. They'll sense/see him from across the road and start freaking out to get near him to rip his face off. It's frightening. He's a Jack Russell, so he's small, and would get torn in half in a second. I mean, like, where is the sun?

I NEED downtime. But I do often battle that nagging voice in the back of my head telling me to be productive.
I'm currently annoyed, because I'm sick, and I've missed work for two days now. May miss it again tomorrow. So I have this free time, and I have ALL KINDS OF SHIT that needs to be done, but I feel too yucky to do it. So I'm sitting around looking at it. It's like some kind of weird responsibility-induced torture. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!
