this is the show i am most proud of, i think, because i was involved in almost every part of creating it. it has lots of emotions, happy and sad ones. the woman portraying the police woman is Peggy Olislaegers, one of the warmest people i know. i have four parts in the show: Harry, an old cop who decided to stop working in the field and now is behind the telephone (he is the one on the pic), Eddy, a rookie who doesn't see the downside of the job yet, Van Bennebroek, a horrible superior, and a dog. the last part comes naturally :-p and was mentioned in a review.

the show is about Liesbeth, a female cop, and she is not happy with her job anymore, in the past she had to shoot a robber and it weighs heavily on her.

it is a children's piece and we were critised about it, the subject was not suited for kids, but we really believe that it is. we talked to many policewomen before creating the show and children always ask them if they ever had to shoot someone. during trying out the show, children came up to us with their stories. most of them had witnessed situations of life and death on the streets. they really understand the difference between TV and real life.

this is one of my favourite pictures, it really is 'me'. it's not accurate anymore though. the other nipple is pierced now too.

there's many stories to tell about the production of course. here's two that come to mind:

*i sat on a woman's lap (i went into the audience naked every performance) and she was so excited she broke her chair.

*one time, when the curtain closed after applause i got entangled in it. naked. and those curtains are HEAVY. they also have iron on the side, so they close nicely. i could have died! but then again, i always say i want to die on stage while working... the best way to die for a performer
