Yes. For the Cream concerts at Royal Albert Hall last May. Did the same thing and had many people trying at once for me to get tix, and it sold out immediately. BUT I posted a thread about it (much like this one) on a Zeppelin board and one kind soul who had bought extra tickets because he planned on going to all 4 concerts, sold me one of his so I got to go after all! 
Maybe something similar will happen to you, you never know.  There's always Ebay as well, but then tickets tend to be ridiculously expensive.  I'd maybe try harder had I not seen them before, but it was 6 of us gonna make a nice weekend out of it in Chicago. It was about the show, but also the whole plan we had around it. And since I'm already doing a lot of traveling this year, well, it makes sense to save my money for the other trips now that this one is out. I knew it would sell out fast, but I just didn't expect quite THIS fast.  Yeah, I know what you mean. There are so many places/concerts I just heard about and would need to plan a lot of travel around if I were to really to go them. Sadly, I can't be in 3 places at once. About 2 weeks ago Rich and I had that experience trying to get Tool tickets. It fucking sucks.  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

They haven't been here since The Bends tour (I believe). And I HATE my decision for that nite. I still hadn't "figured out" Radiohead. But, everyone was going to the show, so I joined the party. The people I went down with all had comps. I had purchased a ticket. So, we got down there and the club was at cappacity and they were no longer letting in comps. So, I gave up my ticket to one of the girls I was with who was WAY more into the band at the time. I could've seen them at First Ave and gave my ticket away  Oh well, I have seen them twice and they were both brilliant shows. I just can never forget that I passed on my only chance to see them in Mpls. | |
