?? for the UK orgers

My friend who lives in London called me the other day and he always jokes around with me and uses british slang that I don't understand. He called me a "tosser" and laughed his ass off afterwards. He wouldn't tell me what it meant because he said it was nasty.

So, what does it mean when someone calls you a "tosser"? Do tell!

It means you're a wanker.
I am from Holland and even I understand it.

tosser Noun. An idiot, a contemptible person. Also, occasionally spelt tossa.

Let the http://www.peevish.co.uk/slang/ be your guide.

Yeah, it means a 'wanker' but it's not as harsh. A bit more like a 'jerk' really.
