I'm thinking of doing the same. I had braces when I was about 16 and everything was going fine until I had them taken off and just had the retainer plates. My jaw started to grow a lot and I was told I should have the braces back on. Being a teen I didn't want to go through that again so I declined and my teeth moved a whole lot in the next year. By American standards my teeth are fucked up. In fact, they are even by British standards.

Maybe if you do it and get on fine I'll have the courage to put that right.
