3 of us on separate computers in the same house tried to get Radiohead tickets. We all hit the 'find tickets' button at the same time, must have sold out in a matter of seconds. And I didn't get one!

I wanna see Radiohead in Chicago!

It's so unfair.







So have you ever tried to get tickets to something and couldn't? This has never happened to me before.

Happens to me all the time with U2 shows.

It's nuts to me that there were limits of 2 tickets per person, 2 shows in Chicago that went on sale at the same time and must have sold out within about 5 seconds cause none of us got them.

Ticketbrokers have that shit on lock like the mafia. I guarantee any number of them will have seats for you, at their outrageously inflated prices of course.

But I've seen them before (in the UK ) and I'd already be paying for a trip to Chicago just to see them, so I'm not gonna go that route this time. But it still really pisses me off.

Radiohead is terrific - I saw them once a number of years ago and it was fantastic.

i saw them play the place that i worked at in London and you now what? they sucked. i actually they were the most pretentious thing i've ever seen.

but yeah it has heppened to me before. but i eventually got the tickets. it was for Prince's One Nite Alone too.

I fucking love radiohead. Have all their albums plus a couple of boots. They're awesome. Yorke's voice is amazing.

Maybe due to high demand, another show may get added. Plus, try checking back each day more seats may become available. Good luck Carrie.

This TOTALLY sucks. As I said yesterday though, better that NONE of us got tix than just ONE of us. It would have been impossible deciding which two would go.

It's a bummer on multiple fronts. 1-No radiohead. 2-no madonna (the show was the day after Madonna's last in chicago so I was gonna try and find a desperate scalper). 3-No 3 day kitty fest in Chicago.

Oh well, this will force me to not spend a big wad o' ca$h. We'll just have to have fun another time.

Yes. For the Cream concerts at Royal Albert Hall last May. Did the same thing and had many people trying at once for me to get tix, and it sold out immediately.

BUT

I posted a thread about it (much like this one) on a Zeppelin board and one kind soul who had bought extra tickets because he planned on going to all 4 concerts, sold me one of his so I got to go after all!

Maybe something similar will happen to you, you never know. There's always Ebay as well, but then tickets tend to be ridiculously expensive.

And since I'm already doing a lot of traveling this year, well, it makes sense to save my money for the other trips now that this one is out.
