but you know what? i won't judge. a friend of mine who had a lot of tats once told me she did it because as a woman, it helps her own her body in a world where men try to objectify her and "own" her body for themselves. i was like, right on sister. people have their reasons for doing these things, and if it makes them feel more empowered, i wish 'em the best.
