it'll be ok..... RELAX take deep breaths and slow down, it will all work out. side note... all that audible sighing is a downer just ignore it and do your best K? We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

every job I've ever had, I've been completely lost the first 2 weeks to a month. It always seems you'll never adjust, but you do.
Don't dwell on how miserable you are becuase you don't know your job right now, but on how miserable you will be when everyone comes to you becuase you know so much.

your boss is just not a great trainer... or has other issues of his own. is right - ignore the sighing
most people suck at training new people. it's difficult and generally you have to learn more by doing than you do from some asshole teaching you. suffer through it... this too shall pass and keep rested and remember to eat so you don't go all fainty again

I did it once over the phone, with about four days' crash-training. People phoned up saying things like "I wanna place half a monkey on a reversed Double Yankee perm for Old Nag to come first, second, third or last" and I was just like screaming "SPEAK ENGLISH!"

that's just a feeling of frustration andy.
imago is right... everyone feels utterly lost at first. make little cheat sheets! having something visual to refer to is the only way i can remember new stuff like that! and just think how long your boss has been at this job. of course it is going to come easy to him! show him determination and that you can DO this!!

Cutie,
try to take it easy. I hate when people train you to do a job and they act like you should already know what you're supposed to be doing. Some people learn from trial and error, like myself. Hang in and don't let that ass*hole get you down. M MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! Unless you have rent, mortgage, food, debts or medical bills to pay for, I say quit. They shouldn't be putting you on the counters until you've had at least a month's intensive training.
